About The Author

Maruf Hossain has a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pace University in New York City, focusing on developmental psychology and the research aspect of psychology. He hopes to finish his education by going for a Ph.D. in developmental psychology. Maruf was an education advocate throughout his undergraduate studies in the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) and Hunter College under the City University of New York (CUNY). As an education advocate, he contributed his time in the CUNY as a student, education advocate, and being part of a student-led organization to bring about change in the system but more specifically in his college programs, Percy Ellis Sutton Search for Education Elevation and Knowledge (SEEK) and College Discovery Program. One of his biggest achievements is serving as a vice-chair to his organization, United Leaders of CUNY, a student-run organization led and run by the SEEK and College Discovery Program students.
