Lloyd Aloysius Casey was born on December 18, 1926 in Anaheim, CA. He dropped out of high school in 1944 and enlisted in the navy. He became a radioman on a destroyer in the South Pacific. He graduated from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA in 1950. He married Mary Grace Wells of Baltimore on Sept. 3 1949. They have five sons and two daughters. He went from teah school to selling to a degree in theology to being a quality engineer. He served four years as a Senator in the Colorado General Assembly. He sponsored the first ever bill to legalize hemp. He is now retired and living in Dublin, OH.

He thought about writing in 1960, started writing in 1980, and continued every ten years until age 90 in 2016. He is now 94.
