ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Judy Benjamin Henderson is the Founder and CEO of Empowerment Resource Associates, Inc. a community- based outpatient mental and behavioral health clinic with locations in both
Philadelphia and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania. She is also the founder of the Resource Initiatives Giving Hope through Training (RIGHT) Foundation, a community based 501 © (3) social service agency dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and other chronic degenerative diseases namely hypertension and diabetes through education. She received an Applied Associates Degree in Office Science from Community College of Philadelphia. She completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at La Salle University; a Master of Human Services Degree from Lincoln University; a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania; and a Post Master's certificate in Couples and Family Therapy from Drexel University.
Judy is the co-chair of the mentoring and networking Committee - Chester County Alumni Chapter of Lincoln University. Her Philadelphia offices and suburban Chester County offices serve as community education sites for Practicum, volunteer and work study students from Drexel University, Lincoln University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Widener University and the University of Pennsylvania. She is an international trainer and public speaker. Judy is known for her training assignments with the U.S. Postal Service, The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the National Minority AIDS Council, The Balm in Gilead, and The University of Mississippi; just to name a few.
She has provided ministry consultations working closely with the Ministers of Health in three African Countries; namely, Ghana, Senegal, and Nigeria. Judy is a published author. Her latest work is a book entitled “Entrepreneurial Ministry – The Catalyst to Community Social Change.” She is also the author of “The Empowerment Link Project” a faith-based Crisis Intervention Partnership Program written for the Department of Behavioral Health, Greater Harvest Evangelistic Church and Interstate Realty. She has written articles for the “Continue Care Coordinator” magazine, and a healthcare industry Newsletter “The Proclamation”. She is a founding member of “Playback Theater for Social Change” an improvisational drama team designed to bring community peace and reconciliation. In awe of how God has used her by molding her daily vocation into a ministry that spiritually empowers and brings emotional healing to constituents; Judy relishes in promoting community entrepreneurial ministry. “Our work in these communities provides the privilege of introducing life changing Godly principles through therapy and counseling to those who live in our flawed and fallen society and so desperately need our help, hope and love.”
Judy is the wife of Robert A. Henderson, Sr. for fifty years. They currently reside in rural Chester County, PA. They are the proud parents of two adult children and two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Judy and her husband, Robert, own International Entrepreneurial Ministries Network, Inc., a company that works with Christian ministry leaders to further empower individuals and their families through training programs, resources, mentoring, empowerment products, and other inspirational resources.
