I am the personal representative of her Excellency Lamees Alhassar, a unique author who to date has over one-hundred works in print and is known in middle eastern literary circles as “the Jewel of Arabia”. She had written and published several titles in the areas of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books and materials. Her focus has been in the genres of paranormal, and sci fi novels, and short stories.

We are presenting four such stories that we think would be ideal for world distribution and/or middle eastern networks:

They came from our future – human beings very much like us. They came to WARN us! They came with a promise to make things better, and we believed. In a story set in the distant future, Planet Earth is visited by strangers from Planet Xanadu, claiming to have been sent by our own future selves to warn present-day Earth of the dangers that lie ahead. After the initial shock and disbelief, followed by much debate, the world’s leaders agree to put their faith in these Future People, with the hope that they can help to avoid impending disaster and save Planet Earth and its inhabitants. But they soon learn that all that glitter is not gold, and all is not as it appears! The true, horrifying agenda of the visitors’ presence on Earth eventually reveals itself – slavery. Now, it is up to a small band of determined rebels to free the slaves and salvage the future of the planet and all humanity!

Johnny Foot is a depressed and lonely man. He seems to fall into one calamity after another; missed appointments, a broken laptop, traffic tickets, dashed expectations in his romantic life… His only goal in life is to be recognized as a great writer. When Johnny’s neighborhood is flooded by torrential rain, a box is washed up in his driveway. Once he pries it open, he discovers an ancient book, along with a quill pen and a bottle of ink. The book is made up of mostly blank pages, but there is a beginning of a story; a story about a planet called Mandar, located in a universe he never heard of, where everything is perfect, and everyone is happy. In his desolated state of mind, he picks up the quill pen and dips it in the ink. He starts writing, continuing the story of Mandar, but instead of the blissful existence of the previous events already written in the book, Johnny creates chaos and natural disasters; earthquakes, floods, wildfires… and even an alien invasion! Meanwhile, in the center of the universe, the actual planet, Mandar, undergoes all the tragedies Johnny is writing about. He must be stopped! The elders of the faraway planet agree, but how? Help him overcome his depression so he writes delightful stories? Or invade Earth?
