Aug. 11, 2020
Rocque Kramer
Non-fiction: General/Other
Ellsworth Russell Kramer was a clandestine operator from 1939-1955. Newly declassified documents from OSS Archive uncover much of his early activities in Istanbul, Damascus, Palestine, Egypt, Italy, Yugoslavia, and Bulgaria. This historical fiction is written around his memories and archival material and focused on a period of combat support of the Chetnik forces in Yugoslavia. He was the archetype for many of today's operators without the eighteen inch biceps. He was also an actor on a very large stage with what he often called a small part but a part that will give a better understanding of the complexities of the time.
