In Pursuit: The Quest to Catch the Beltway Snipers
Sept. 26, 2017
David Reichenbaugh
Non-fiction: True crime
For 23 days in October 2002, the entire Washington, DC, metropolitan area was terrorized by a sniper who was killing victims at random. Barely a year after 9/11, the public — and law enforcement — was unsure if this was another orchestrated attack or if the “Beltway Sniper” was a lone wolf. October 2017 marks the 15th anniversary of the shooting rampage and the investigation that finally brought the shooters to justice. In Pursuit is riveting true crime and insight into the mind of an investigator.
