For more than 35 years, Scott Manning has created and implemented public relations campaigns for a wide variety of high-profile books, authors and literary organizations. Founded in 1995, his company's services include special events planning and media placement via long-standing contacts with print and online journalists, book reviewers and broadcast producers. Over the last ten+ years, he and his colleague Abigail Welhouse have expanded the company’s expertise to include media training, marketing consulting and social media counsel.
Manning was also the founder of the Books for a Better Life Awards, which honored the best self-help books for 21 years and raised more than $2.1 million for the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of The MacDowell Colony.
