Meredith Rutter, former publisher of VanderWyk & Burnham, has transitioned into a writing career that includes memoir and fiction. She writes under the pen name Meredith Marple (not to be confused with a different Meredith Marple who writes self-help materials). Rutter created Cinder Path Press to publish her debut novel and first personal/memoir essay. She is currently writing a sequel to the novel and working on a book of personal/memoir essays.
