WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
I gravitate toward literary fiction that plays with genre and that grapples with the darker aspects of the human experience in some meaningful and even unexpected way. I also seek nuanced speculative fiction that contemplates the future and our place in the world. A fierce advocate of underrepresented voices, I look for complex characters, layered plots, and braided narratives. When it comes to nonfiction, I am open to fresh, smart, well-branded nonfiction in the areas of science/technology, pop culture, wellness, fitness, food, and humor. Above all, I am always on the hunt for gifted storytelling that stretches its genre to new heights.
