The Lord of the Earth
Trapped in desert prisons, an advanced race seeks one who can set them free. They lured the Americans into the Iraqi desert in pursuit of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Hayk Hapootlian, a scholar, a physicist, and a US Marine leads the search for WMDs. His current mission: investigate an anomaly in the western desert of Iraq.
Pulled through a shimmering column of air into the "in-between", Hayk meets Joseph, an old man claiming to be the father of Jesus. Joseph offers Hayk the source of the anomaly and to return to his world in exchange for saving his son.
The quest is simple, save his son. The outcome is complicated.
It all comes to an unexpected end, leaving Hayk stuck between realities. Christ doesn’t die on the cross but that’s not the biggest revelation. Hayk is the son who needed saving, the newest member of an ancient race. Along the way he learns that we rarely recognize the monsters and those we believe monsters may become dear to us.
The Lord of the Earth is the first book in a series. Book two, The Miqra, is in progress and book three, The Qur'an is fully outlined.
