Bill Lynch, is an award-winning journalist, author, and columnist. He is the former editor Sonoma Magazine and The Sonoma Index-Tribune, and a recipient of the James Madison Investigative Journalism Award from Society of Professional Journalists and the Lincoln Steffens Investigative Journalism Award. He is also the author of two books on Sonoma Valley history and a travel series on Italy, France, England, Ireland, South America and Asia. He is an avid fly-fisherman, and a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara. He and his wife, Dottie, live in Sonoma, CA.
