Our motto is: We publish the best crime novels in existence. A brash claim? You bet it is. But our award-winning, critically acclaimed authors prove it with each and every one of their amazing books. We publish the books that we love – the widely-acclaimed, award-winning novels that have inspired, entertained, and wowed countless readers as well as today’s bestselling authors of thrillers and mysteries. We also publish innovative thrillers and novels of suspense from well-established authors and new voices in crime fiction.

We were founded by Lee Goldberg and Joel Goldman, both Edgar-Award nominated, bestselling authors. Lee is the TV writer/producer of many of successful series ("Monk," "Diagnosis Murder," "SeaQuest," etc) and is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of more than 40 books, including the first five books in the Fox & O’Hare series coauthored with Janet Evanovich. Joel traded his career as a practicing trial attorney to write the hugely successful and award-winning Lou Mason, Jack Davis, and Alex Stone thriller series. Together, they share a passion for great crime novels – which led them to start their own publishing company. We launched in Sept 2014 with 30 titles and are releasing 8-10 books quarterly.
