Madeline Hunter’s first romance was published in June, 2000. Since then she has seen nineteen historical romances and one novella published, all in mass market paperback, and her books have been translated into twelve languages. Her 2008 release Secrets of Surrender was in the top 20 on the NYTimes list, the top 50 of the USAToday list, and on Publishers Weekly list. Provocative in Pearls (March, 2010, Jove) was also on the NYTimes print list and top 50 USAToday list. She is a six time RITA finalist, and won the long historical RITA in 2003 for her medieval romance Stealing Heaven, and the historical RITA in 2008 for Lessons of Desire. Eighteen of her novels have been on the USA Today bestseller list. She has received two starred reviews in Publishers Weekly, one is Booklist, and Romantic Times has awarded sixteen of her books 4 ½ stars. Madeline is a Ph.D. in Art History, and she teaches at the college level. She currently lives in Pennsylvania.
