This writer is looking for an agent.
I have worn many hats over the years, from my first job at a General Store in Woodstock Vermont, to a brief brush with the MLM company Herbalife, to Victim Advocate with the State’s Attorney’s office and a battered women’s shelter, to whatever needed to be done at the family cheesemaking business. I’ve made cheese, aged cheese, managed the books, and entertained loads of customers, authors, journalists, and TV crews. But writing has never felt like a job, it’s always been the thing that makes me feel the most like me.I have not yet had any work published besides on my own website and my recently launched publication on Substack. Being a writer was never the plan; it was more of a necessity—I had to write, and the wonderful side effect of writing it is that I came to understand how much I really enjoyed breathing life into my memories and I began to relish the challenge of so consuming my readers that they were able to walk with me through those experiences.
I have written a memoir and am currently in the market for an agent.
