Seventeen years as a writer and editor, so why social media?
I think because marketing has become very authentic for me. I could sit and brainstorm with any business owner how to better position themselves online. I've been blogging for myself and others since 2005. I no longer care as much about serial commas or kerning as I once did. I'd much rather talk blogging and Twitter and how to create an eZine so that businesses (and authors) can regularly communicate with their customers. That's my authenticity right there. Sure, I know where you put serial commas and I still help many publishing companies do that, but I'm just so intrigued by how authors and the Internet intersect in 2012 and beyond.
If I'm not reading online, you'll find me with my Kindle. Or on the phone talking strategy with a business owner or author. It's who I am.
