Don Congdon Associates represents a distinguished and eclectic list of clients ranging from emerging talent to authors of 20th century classics. We provide individualized service to each client and are committed to developing and representing all aspects of an author’s career. Our clients have been the recipients of an array of awards including the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the James Thurber Prize, the Lambda Literary Award, the Grand Master of Science Fiction and Horror awards, and the National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters. My clients have been awarded the Booker International Prize, the O. Henry Award, the Pura Belpré Honor, and the William Saroyan International Prize for Writing.
I joined Don Congdon Associates in 2007. I represent and am seeking voice-driven literary and upmarket fiction, narrative and creative non-fiction, and literary fiction for young adult and middle grade audiences. Across all genres, I'm looking for books with a heartbeat and sense of purpose. I’ll always be interested in the darker and weirder side of human history, previously under- or misrepresented experiences, and narratives that contribute to a larger cultural conversation. Originally from Colorado, I earned my BA in History and Spanish Literature from Bowdoin College. I currently split my time between New York and North Carolina and am actively seeking new voices from the South.
