My short story "Ron" is in the current spring 2018 issue of Tin House. I also have recent work in The Iowa Review, TriQuarterly, New Ohio Review, PANK, and elsewhere. My novel-in-progress is growing out of my short story, "How to Survive on Land," which was runner-up in the 2016 Ploughshares Emerging Writer's Contest and appears (online and in print) in the New Ohio Review. Very recently, I've received grants from The Elizabeth George Foundation and The Speculative Literature Foundation to support the completion of my novel. I hold an MFA from The New School, am Founder/Director of Pioneer Valley Writers' Workshop in Western MA, am a Grub Street writing instructor, and am Associate Fiction Editor at West Branch.
