I am a North Carolinian by birth and upbringing and an Ohioan by choice. A United States Air Force Academy grad, I earned an MA at Southern Mississippi and a PhD from Purdue. During my career as an officer, I redefined consulting in the United States Air Force, conducting studies in the U.S. and Europe. My second career was as a management professor where I earned numerous honors. I continued consulting and doing workshops. In 2016 I moved to emeritus status at my university so I can pursue my third career as writer and author.
In 2015 Praeger published my first book, "Decoding the Workplace: 50 Keys to Understanding People in Organizations." In 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards named it the winner in the Career category in their international competition. Gregg Popovich, president and coach of the San Antonio Spurs NBA team, was one of the endorsers.
In 2018 Gildan Media (Recorded Books Inc.) released the audiobook of "Decoding the Workplace."
I have several writing projects in various stages across several genres. I am pleased to be represented by Maryann Karinch.
