Alfred Farber

My first novel follows on 34 years of professional writing and editing experience. I am a retired anthropologist, environmental scientist, and technical writer. I directed hundreds of archaeological investigations, authored technical reports for each, and published findings in peer-reviewed journals. As a technical writer and editor for a global consulting firm, I ghosted or edited thousands of documents in multiple engineering and science disciplines. Each met exacting industry publishing standards and requirements of governmental and regulatory agencies.

Retirement frees me to write for my own pleasure about my passion for the history of ancient people. I open an intimate window into the lives of both Ice Age Neanderthals and scientists who want to know them, with events, characters, and dialogue from my own life.
