Job Purpose: ABRAMS is seeking an innovative, organized, and dynamic HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Business Partner, you will lead all talent acquisition efforts for all levels across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs
• Develop a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies
• Source and find candidates qualified for open positions
• Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.)
• Analyze hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
• Manager Internship program
• Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
• Encourage employees to be brand ambassadors
• Use HRIS, Recruitment Marketing tools
• Reviews employment applications and background check reports
• Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process
• Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
• Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
• Suggest measures for improving employee retention
• Utilize creative sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
• Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
• Deliver manager training as needed focused on talent acquisition
• Provide support on HR initiatives and projects

• 5 years of experience as TA/HR experience
• Experience within the publishing industry highly desirable
• In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
• Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, etc.)
• Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
• High-level understanding of the Talent Acquisition process within the publishing industry
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills, high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and organization; Comfortable presenting to large groups
• Natural multi-tasker with excellent time management skills, who is comfortable shifting course as needed; proven ability to identify priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Open-minded, innovative, proactive self-starter who can work well independently yet flourishes in a collaborative environment
• Easily builds and maintains relationships with different management levels and personalities; Proven ability to work cross-functionally across departments
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong knowledge of Excel in particular
• Knowledge of social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter
• Knowledge of MailChimp a plus

This position is based in New York City office, currently with a hybrid schedule (subject to change).
