Job Description

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creative development of the trade and consumer campaigns for individual titles as well as inter-company initiatives for major titles and brands.

This position will report to the Senior Marketing Director.


(60%) - Brainstorm, develop, write, and execute marketing plans for picture book, SEL, Cartwheel, and Acorn and Branches titles

Oversee the creation of promotional materials, advertisements, videos, websites, and all marketing assets related to assigned titles

Write copy for creative jobs including ads, promotional items, blog posts, and website content

Communicate marketing updates to sales, editorial, cross-channel partners, agents, and authors as needed

(40%) - Strategize on and build out title and brand-specific online presence for key titles, including websites and social media campaigns

Analyze sales data and analytics from advertising campaigns to suggest best placements

Work closely with Senior Marketing Director on overall brand strategy for growth and direction

HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)

Excellent communication skills (oral & written), good judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills

Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task

Bachelor’s degree, proficient in Microsoft Office, social media knowledge and skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
