Requirements:
The Macmillan Sales Division is looking for a Pricing Manager who is a highly motivated, data-driven self-starter to join a small but dynamic team to manage eBook pricing, physical book pricing, and eBook price promotion selection / strategy. This highly analytical, hands-on role considers data from multiple sources and develops pricing models based on competitor,
market, and customer data.

What you'll do:

- Work with complex data sets, across eBook and physical book formats, to determine and set strategic prices that achieve revenue goals and build market share
- Collaborate with publishers on proposed price changes and communication of results
- Cull data and present information to the executive team
- Manage all aspects of the eBook downprice program: soliciting nominations from publishers, collaborating with marketers, submitting deals nominations to accounts, and coordinating implementation of price changes
- Contribute to eBook team initiatives
- Collaborate with data science team with pricing initiatives
- Working with National Accounts Managers on initiatives with major accounts

Ideal Experience/Education:

- 3+ years of professional work experience, ideally in the publishing industry – or field
that cultivates transferable skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
