We are seeking a Graphic Designer ‬to be part of a creative, fast-paced in-house design team focused on Beaming Books, our children’s book imprint that publishes high-quality children’s books that help kids thrive in every part of who they are – emotionally, socially, and spiritually. The graphic designer will work collaboratively on new and existing design resources, including cover design, interior book production, and related promotional resources—incorporating fresh ideas while effectively communicating product features and maintaining brand identity. Our work environment promotes career growth, camaraderie, and a healthy work-life balance for all employees.

This position will:‬
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create marketing and product designs for both print and digital distribution

Our ideal candidate will be:‬
• Creative and collaborative: Work with editorial, marketing, and the design team to understand creative intent and determine how to best meet each title’s unique needs
• Detail-oriented: Someone who loves to dig into the weeds of a design project and make sure everything is thought out and harmonious
• A clear communicator and great listener who can both give and respond thoughtfully to feedback
• Self-driven and organized, managing multiple projects within desired timelines
• A collegial team member with a positive attitude

Technical requirements:‬
• Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Proficiency on a Mac with Adobe Create Suite and Microsoft Office programs
• Experience working with project management software is desirable
• In-depth knowledge of print and digital book production
• Illustration skills and eBook production experience are a plus
