Leading New York-based technology Association and Scholarly Publisher is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Association’s Director of Publications and Publications Department.

Main responsibilities include general administrative support functions, including preparation and coordination of departmental staff and management meetings, drafting and distribution of meeting minutes, processing of invoices, maintenance and updating of Publications related websites, generating financial reports, liaising with Association volunteers, providing support with Publications-related editorial and marketing activities, and other general support functions on an as needed basis.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three to five years’ of experience in an administrative assistant role with preference shown for such experience at an Association or Scholarly Publisher. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to effectively multi-task and support a wide variety of initiatives and tasks are essential elements of this role, as is a demonstrated proficiency with standard Microsoft Office Suite of applications, using website content management systems, Zoom, and other software systems. The successful candidate will be based in person at the organization’s New York City headquarters.
