Sales Reporting Support Analyst – Publishing Operations

Penguin Random House has a powerful set of sales reporting systems that encompass in-house data as well as industry-wide POS (cash-register sales as reported by stores). The Sales Reporting Support Analyst would become an expert in these systems and would support PRH employees as well as distribution client employees in using the systems effectively.

Responsibilities:
* Training and Documentation: Train users on how to use PRH reporting systems.
* Create and maintain easy-to-follow documentation (written, video, etc.).
* Support:Answer user questions about reporting systems.
* Troubleshoot issues in the systems and /or data.
* Projects: Contribute to projects and tasks including data cleanup, process improvements, system upgrades and testing, sales analysis, and more.

Requirements:
* Relevant experience would include book publishing sales (any role), sales reporting, and sales analysis
* Strong Excel skills (including v-lookups, pivot tables, text to column, etc.)
* Strong written communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels and functions
* Detail-oriented
* Eager to learn new systems
* Power BI knowledge a plus but not necessary
* Experience as a trainer would be helpful
