SUMMARY: The Associate Producer will perform audio production tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produce high quality audiobooks
Direct and/or perform post on select titles
Manage out-sourced select titles
Liaise with HBG Publishers, authors, etc.
Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Experience in multi-project production, directing talent, producing and audio postproduction
Technical knowledge (i.e. Pro Tools and audio recording/ production equipment)
Bachelors Degree in a related field, (e.g. Communications, Publishing, Administration, Audio Production, English, Theater) and/or 5 years related experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Adobe Suite CS5+, PC and Mac systems
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings regardless of audience
Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
Operates ethically: admits mistakes, treats others with respect, trust, and dignity, demonstrates honest and ethical behavior, and follows through on commitments and agreements
Knowledge of foreign languages and areas of interest (e.g. medicine, military, pop culture, sci-fi, history) a plus
