Princeton Architectural Press is looking for a dynamic Senior Editor who can help grow and lead our business as we all as extend our marketplace reach. This position is an exciting opportunity for an editor who wants to be part of a creative and collaborative team that publishes beautiful adult and children’s books as well as a stationery/gift line.

The Senior Editor will originate, acquire, develop and edit projects, and they will monitor trends to help shape the list and target growth areas. In addition, they will guide projects through the entire publishing process, working collaboratively with all of our in-house teams. As part of this role, the Senior Editor will also cultivate relationships with agents, authors, licensors, packagers, overseas publishers and other publishing industry professionals. They will be expected to bring creative vision and energy as well as help facilitate entrepreneurial ideas and partnerships.

A qualified candidate should have five or more years’ acquisitions and project editor experience at a trade publishing house. They will have a successful track record publishing non-fiction, including a demonstrated ability to acquire, develop, edit and position a list of strong-performing titles. This position requires someone who is a self-motivated and highly collaborative original thinker who can thrive in a group and work independently as well.
