Offered by:

Benefits:
Health; Dental
Duration:
Full Time
Location:
Washington, DC
Requirements:
Bestselling author and Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward is seeking a motivated, energetic person with a can-do approach to assist with research, transcribing, editing, and assorted administrative tasks for upcoming projects.

The strongest candidate will be someone with a demonstrated interest in news and current events and eager to learn about journalism or publishing. The role calls for strict confidentiality and an openness to being a jack of all trades. Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy are a must.

Administrative work will overlap with high-level, heavy-duty research and editorial work. There will be some long hours and a lot of transcribing. (Please be prepared to take a test of your transcribing ability as part of the application process.) This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person, and is definitely a job a person can grow their writing and reporting skills in.

The position is based in Woodward's home office in Northwest Washington D.C. and remote work is not available. While we've adapted to accommodate some remote work due to Covid-19, the confidential nature of the work means it's largely in-house.

Competitive salary, health insurance, and vacation time are provided.
