The Marketing Associate will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns for a variety of Special Interest titles to help meet US sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and execute marketing campaigns for key special interest titles, including organizing consumer outreach, email marketing initiatives, retailer and library promotions, paid search and social ad campaigns, and social media campaigns
• Manage website promotions and online catalog copy
• Maintain Special Interest publishing schedule and calendar of editorial deadlines
• Create sales presentations and regularly create material for specialist accounts
• Support marketing, publicity, and sales team with various administrative duties

Knowledge, qualifications and experience:
• Familiarity with Adestra, Biblio, Excel, FocalPoint, and Edelweiss. Design experience a plus.
• 1-2 years book publishing experience, preferably in marketing or sales

• Able to act proactively and with limited direct supervision, while at the same time recognizing when matters need to be referred to more senior managers.
• The interpersonal skills necessary to develop and sustain effective relationships internally, and on behalf of the Company.
• Able to work accurately with detailed information and to ensure that practical tasks are effectively implemented.
• Able to identify and highlight potential obstacles in achieving objectives and propose solutions where appropriate.
• Able to juggle multiple deadlines and projects

• Possesses a high level of resilience and drive, able to be flexible and change direction as required
