Meghan Stevenson Books is seeking a professional editor/collaborator/ghostwriter to join our remote team helping entrepreneurs, academics, subject matter experts and thought leaders create book proposals that sell. Our work helps smart, creative people get their ideas on the page and position themselves so agents and publishers understand their potential as authors.

We are looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of editorial experience, either at a publishing house or working at a literary agency
- A love of prescriptive nonfiction (including self-help, personal growth, personal finance, parenting, and health/wellness, among other categories)

Interest in online entrepreneurship, social media, and influencer marketing as well as previous experience writing, collaborating and/or acquiring nonfiction projects will be considered a plus, but is not required.

Please note that this work would be part-time and on a project basis.

Meghan Stevenson Books, LLC was founded in 2012 by a former editor at Penguin and Simon & Schuster. We help entrepreneurs, experts, and thought leaders create nonfiction book proposals that attract top literary agents. Our proposals have been acquired by editors at PRH, S&S, Hay House, Sourcebooks, and HarperCollins, among others.

In addition to proposals, we offer our authors help with content marketing and building author platforms. Our clients also include literary agents and editors at Big Five publishers who need book doctors, professional collaborators, and editors to do work on existing backlist and frontlist titles.
