FSG Books is seeking an Associate Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing campaigns for a list of fiction and non-fiction books. The ideal candidate is someone who reads widely, communicates clearly, works independently and is passionate about connecting writers with readers.

What you'll do:
Develop, implement and analyze creative marketing campaigns for frontlist titles
Work directly with the SVP Marketing & Publicity, Marketing Director, Author, Editorial, Publicity, Sales, other internal departments and external contacts
Collaborate with authors and agents to most effectively market their titles
Deliver sound strategic plan recommendations based on a clear understanding of title-specific or imprint goals
Strategize and develop creative ad campaigns
Leverage consumer insights and analytics for targeting and messaging
Communicate with the editorial and publicity teams to leverage data findings into sales opportunities
Understand current marketplace trends and ways to leverage frontlist
Provide sales strategy and support for sell-in of individual titles
Construct social media strategy with team for platforms and titles including post-mortem analytics

What you'll bring:
Dreamweaver or basic HTML, Photoshop, WordPress skills are a plus
Ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to proofread and copy edit
Comfortable with learning new technologies
Strong work ethic

Experience/Education :
10+ years of marketing experience
Ability and willingness to work with social media, Excel and various media databases
Bachelor’s Degree required
