The Random House Publishing Group is seeking an Ad Operations Coordinator to join the Integrated Marketing/Content Services department, a team working across all genres and dedicated to campaign planning, optimization, and reporting; media buying; market insights; and creative performance. The Ad Operations Coordinator will be responsible for tracking, organizing, and analyzing data for all advertising campaigns, and reporting on performance to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Track and manage performance data for over 250 ad campaigns annually across all imprints of the Random House Publishing Group
* Analyze and synthesize ad performance data to identify trends, set ad performance benchmarks, and provide actionable insights
* Use data from a variety of platforms and sources (in-house tools, website analytics, vendor reports, ad platforms, etc.) to create reporting templates for recurring requests
* Compile and deliver regular reports to internal departments, including evaluations and recommendations based on findings
* Help create and present seasonal trend reports and annual performance reports that will inform strategy and increase departmental efficiency and campaign effectiveness
* Assist in management and optimization of paid social, self-serve, and programmatic ad campaigns
* Coordinate efforts related to ad technology partners (potential ad servers, DMPs, DSPs, etc.) including integration, workflow, and management
* Assist in securing and managing data and assets used for audience targeting
* Liaise with corporate consumer marketing department for matters including centrally-managed and internally-developed marketing technology, customer data management, ad pixel implementation, and more

Requirements:
* Two years of experience in ad operations, digital marketing and advertising, and/or marketing analytics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex and technical details clearly
* Ability to effectively manage own time and to-do list while juggling multiple tasks
* Proficiency and proven experience with Microsoft Excel (including formulas)
* Fluency in the language of digital marketing metrics and online measurement
* Experience with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics in particular)
* Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem, with experience working with ad servers, DSPs, and ad exchanges
* Understanding of best practices for paid search and paid social advertising (with experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads a plus)
* Knowledge of existing and developing consumer data collection laws, usage, and best practices, as they relate to advertising and audience targeting
* Ability to work independently and manage own projects, as well as collaborate with and support efforts of the larger team
* An eye for trends: both spotting them in data and identifying them in the advertising landscape
