Requirements:
THE OPPORTUNITY/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in tradebook-related reprint licensing, including renewals
• Prepare Deal Memos
• Review contracts and royalty setup to confirm necessary rights have been granted
• Process and track production file orders and invoices
• Set up and maintain contract details and related correspondence in departmental and corporate product databases, invoice tracking, and contract systems
• Obtain, review, and, distribute Scholastic reprint editions to Licensors
• Assist department Director and Manager in rights assessment of Education product for uses by other divisions

HOW YOU CAN FIT

• 3 to 5 years’ publishing experience
• Experience in rights and permissions
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Close attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fluent Spanish
• Experience with Spanish in a business environment a plus
• Experience with FileMaker Pro and other databases a plus
