Gallery Books is seeking an experienced digital marketing professional with demonstrated success in the book publishing industry and an interest in Women’s Fiction, Pop Culture, Lifestyle and Memoirs.

Core Responsibilities:
-initiate and spearhead innovative marketing ideas for Gallery and Scout titles
-create digital campaigns for new releases
-support Associate Marketing Director in monitoring and analyzing advertising campaigns, email, and social outreach performance
-proactively research new online advertising tools and methods
-train, supervise and mentor departmental assistant and associate/intern on social media strategy and execution
-serve as the departmental liaison with corporate marketing for social strategy, .biz, book club, best practices, etc.
-maintain and create custom landing pages and buy buttons
-Work one-on-one with authors to develop their digital presence
-Other responsibilities as departmental support is needed

5+ years experience in digital marketing
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven success in Digital Marketing, Social Media campaigns, and Social Media Outreach
Strong analytical skills in interpreting advertising, email, and sales data
Must be comfortable communicating directly with authors and agents in person and via phone or email
Organized, detail-oriented, collaborative
