SUMMARY: The Associate Production Manager will handle all aspects of production for Abrams’ imprints.

Handle all elements of production from files to finished product with the goal of delivering projects on time and on budget.

Tasks include (but are not limited to):
Project planning
Trafficking of materials
Creating and maintaining purchase orders
Data entry in TMM
Quality control – color correction of proofs
Managing compliance paperwork – safety testing, vendor approvals, NDA’s, licensor agreements, etc – as needed
Help in assisting with ongoing improvements to communication, workflow and overall process

Key Skills/Experience:
1-3 years working in book publishing
Excellent written and verbal skills
Flexible mind set/able to multitask
Must be energetic, organized, and a proactive problem solver
Computer literate – Word and Excel
Familiarity with Firebrand/Quality Solutions Systems plus
