Kensington Books is searching for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team! This position is highly involved in many aspects of the digital department including social media and eBook promotion. The ideal candidate will be motivated and ambitious with the ability to work efficiently with multiple departments and problem solve on the go. He or she should also be comfortable with administrative and creative work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties Include:

• Contributing to the copy, design, and distribution of creative assets for authors’ social media profiles
• Handling our Goodreads presence, including populating giveaways, exporting winners, and overseeing mailings
• Coordinating all materials for back of book teaser updates and overseeing the completion of file updates and redistribution
• Building monthly retailer presentations in PowerPoint
• Creating and distributing weekly and monthly sales reports
• Overseeing the approval process for our email campaigns
• Obtaining and mailing prizes for online giveaway winners.
• Creating short-form content, both visual and written for social messaging
• Assisting in maintaining social platforms and interactive digital book clubs

Job Requirements:

• At least one year of relevant experience in digital marketing, media, or publishing
• Excellent verbal and written skills including the ability to write in a branded voice and communicate professionally with key individuals, both internal and external
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Social Media Schedulers and individual platforms
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape
• Ability to work on an interdepartmental scale
• Photo editing skills a plus
• Photography a plus
