This position is responsible for maintaining customer relations for an educational children’s publisher. Responsibilities include handling orders and inquiries from customers as well as managing wholesale account relationships. Must have a desire to help people and be comfortable with variety. Flexible hours and the ability to work from home. Prior experience with QuickBooks is helpful. This position has 2 combined components: customer service and account management.

Customer Service
Customer service and order entry. Field calls and emails from customers and sales reps regarding orders and product availability. Input product orders and transmit to warehouse. Handle a variety of orders including e-commerce, emailed or faxed, EDI, Amazon.
Assist in the distribution of information to customers, sales reps and vendors including order status, new product information, selected bid contracts.
Answer, screen and route incoming toll free phone calls and email.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Account Management
Manage selected wholesale accounts to provide for their needs and disseminate product information or requests. Travel as required.
Liaise with small independent rep force.
Attend wholesaler conferences and trade shows as needed.
Work with marketing to provide advertising and promotional ideas for wholesalers and reps.
