Scholastic’s Trade division has an opportunity for a Mass Market Sales Associate. This position will support the National Account Managers and Senior Director of National Accounts who sell to Mass Market accounts. This is an opportunity to step into a sales role—this position will create sales presentations, manage inventory, track orders, and manage other miscellaneous projects. With proven success, this role has the potential to also manage accounts. The position reports to the Senior Director of National Accounts.


•Prepare Sales presentations
•Maintain and update daily backorder reports and track orders
•Run weekly POS reports across all Readerlink accounts
•Update and run various reports by account
•Assist sales team with managing mailings and materials
•Attend Sales calls
•Liaise between sales and publishers for licensing updates
•Other duties and projects as assigned


•At least 1 to 3 years prior sales support experience preferably with publishing company
•Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
•Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
•Ability to communicate and interact professionally with accounts, clients, and staff
•Proactive problem solver
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel , Word and Outlook
