Requirements:
Hooked is seeking an Assistant Editor to support its Editorial Director (formerly from Hachette and PRH) and Associate Editor (formerly from Curtis Brown). Only candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in some facet of publishing and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field should apply. Please note that this is not an entry-level position; we are looking for someone who is well-versed in the traditional publishing industry and is fascinated by the challenge of applying their current background to the tech world.

You should be comfortable with remote work as many of our employees are on the West Coast. The editorial staff will have weekly meetings in New York, but most of the time you will need to manage your workload from home or at our co-working space.
