Aevitas Creative Management seeks a bright and capable individual to fulfill a multifaceted role as Editorial Assistant/Office Manager of the agency's New York office. The primary function of the position is to oversee day-to-day operation of the office, which includes: scheduling meetings and coordinating all-company events; answering the main phone line; processing all mail and packages; maintaining office space and supplies; processing author payments; and routing documents to clients and publishers. Additional duties involve administrative support to ACM foreign rights director and reading and providing editorial feedback on manuscripts and proposals when requested. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a nuanced understanding of the publishing industry and have experience working in a dynamic office environment. Salary is competitive and negotiable.
