As internal client publisher advocate, this person will act as liaison between the sales department and 20 client publishers. This will include pre-publication responsibilities such as ensuring title metadata is complete and accurate, that sales material is available for the sales department, including marketing and publicity plans from publisher, that estimates from the sales reps are complete, accurate and available to client publishers, working with the reps on coop approvals, and working with the client publishers on setting initial print runs. Post-publication responsibilities will include tracking weekly POS, inventory and sales analysis for budgeting purposes and reprint decisions, and identifying appropriate titles for seasonal promotional opportunities at accounts. Responsibilities will also include projecting annual sales and working with the sales department to achieve those projections. Experience in book publishing is required.
