Marketing Manager will be responsible for organizing, creating and disseminating company and product information to its customer base of teachers, librarians, wholesalers and sales reps. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and distribute new product marketing material to: educational wholesalers and sales force. Includes metadata, images, features and benefit sell sheets.

• Co-ordinate advertising for trade journals and co-op advertising with wholesalers.

• Work with graphic designer to create two annual print catalogs. Responsible for developing catalog mailing list and getting required copies to wholesalers and reps.

• Post to social media outlets such as Pinterest and Facebook and Twitter on a regular basis.

• Prepare and send our monthly company newsletter to teachers, librarians and wholesalers.

• Oversee website maintenance. Add new product as needed.

• Submit new books to Fountas and Pinnell, Lexile and Accelerated Reader for leveling and then disseminate information to wholesalers, staff and website.

• Upload new title data to Amazon.com and Books in Print

• Upload eBooks to hosting site and Google Preview.

• Organize and prepare for trade shows, in-service meetings and other industry events. Attend as needed.

• Administer sampling program to schools and public libraries. Contact curriculum coordinators and district library coordinators by various methods including phone, email, to maintain the program.

• Submit titles for review to trade journals and peer review sites. Distribute reviews to wholesalers and schools.

Requirements: Experience of 2+ years in similar role, or a B.S. degree in Marketing. Must be able to work independently.
