Baker Publishing Group, based near Grand Rapids, Michigan, is currently accepting applications for a full-time editor in the Baker Academic & Brazos Press division.

This position is responsible for guiding an assigned number of books through the editorial process from accepted manuscript to production-ready files according to the current processes and standards used by Baker Academic & Brazos Press.

The successful candidate will possess a master’s degree (in biblical studies or a related field), at least three years of editorial experience, knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style, and knowledge of biblical languages. The position requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, meticulous attention to details and deadlines, and the ability to employ proper editing and proofreading technique. No travel is required. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
