We're a literary management company seeking an Executive Assistant to support our company owner. The assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including managing the calendar (scheduling appointments and reservations), answering incoming calls, maintaining our electronic database, and generally facilitating the day-to-day administration of the company.

The assistant will help support a large, active roster of clients and will be expected to correspond directly with writers, editors and development staff; they will be expected to read proposals, manuscripts and/or film/tv scripts and provide coverage.

This is a high-volume role and the ideal candidate is extremely organized, has excellent communication skills, is an experienced multi-tasker and able to manage and prioritize tasks with grace and good humor. The office environment is highly collaborative and dynamic; an ability to manage relationships and work well with others (in writing, in person, by phone) is crucial. There is high growth potential for the right person.

Candidates must have 1-2 years full-time, paid assistant experience in film/tv, publishing, media or a related field, ideally running a high-volume desk. Film/tv experience preferred; BA/BS degree required. Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
