The Client Operations Manager is a curious individual who enjoys helping others. A COM has a passion for operations, systems, and understanding how things work. It is also an individual who can explain complex issues in a straightforward and easily understandable fashion.
The Client Operations Manager plays a critical role in guiding our clients through day-to-day operational issues and supporting the overall PRHPS business. The knowledge base required for this position is extensive. The COM is responsible for having depth of knowledge in and a curiosity about: warehousing and distribution, financial accounting, physical and digital production, along with asset management and distribution (including POD, eBooks and Audio). The COM should also be knowledgeable in International and Canadian territories as well as US channels including Special Markets, Educational, and Library. Furthermore, the COM is responsible for understanding reporting, training, and suggesting systems enhancements. In addition to day to day responsibilities the COM will be responsible for managing new client integrations.
Day to day responsibilities include problem solving and supporting PRHPS clients on operational and financial concerns as well as supporting PRH staff on client-related concerns.
Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of related publishing/operations experience and will possess the following skills:
* Natural curiosity about the way things work

* Advanced written and verbal communication skills
* Conflict management
* Critical thinking and problem solving
* Ability to work in a team environment or independently
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel)
