Reports to:
Director, Licensed and Proprietary Brands

Responsibilities:
* Manage the creative process and execute on strategies for retail and direct to consumer marketing campaigns for chapter book programs, select middle grade titles, and key licensed brands.
* Work in a creative team environment developing and executing marketing plans with the Education and Digital Marketing teams along with our Publicity department.
* Responsible for the creation and distribution of campaign related sales marketing tools and communications.
* Active and strong participation in brainstorming phase of projects and campaigns.
* Present seasonal campaign plans to the sales and publishing teams at key meetings.
* Responsible for brand activation at select trade and consumer festivals.
* Assist in the planning and execution of customized retail promotions together with the Marketing Director and the Sales Team.
* Budget management and create business review reports.
* Responsible for third-party partner cross-promotional efforts via licensor recommendations and licensee relationships.
* Responsible for multiple administrative tasks associated with projects.
* Manage seasonal timelines and project execution accordingly

Requirements/Qualifications:
* 3 to 5 years marketing and/or related experience with product or brand licensing.
* Extremely creative and confident in idea sharing.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Flexibility in working independently and as a key team player
* Leadership and organizational skills.
* Ability to multi-task and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Some travel will be required.
