The Associate National Accounts Manager in the Online and Digital Sales Group will have responsibility for managing HBG’s library Ebook accounts, will contribute to growing HBG’s Ebook sales internationally, and will support the Digital Accounts team with day-to-day needs, from creating marketing and sales materials, to trouble-shooting operational issues. Be part of a dynamic, collaborative team responsible for bringing HBG’s Ebooks to the marketplace. Plenty of opportunity to grow, take on additional responsibilities and learn about digital sales from the ground up.

• Assist Senior Account Manager with daily tasks, from creating marketing materials, to market research and analysis of market trends.
• Manage HBG’s existing Library Ebook accounts, from coordinating merchandizing and title placements, to devising special promotions and troubleshooting any account-specific issues.
• Oversee HBG’s International eBook business, serving as liaison with HBG sister companies in the UK and Australia.
• Manage ebook pricing in HBG systems and troubleshoot international pricing issues.
• Serve as digital liaison with HBG distribution client team on account-facing issues and concerns, from working with different departments to assist in on-boarding new ebook clients, to fielding client issues and questions in regards to ebook sales and marketing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot catalog integrity, product availability, and partner compliance for digital product
• Prepare and present semi-annual Business Reviews
• Create regular email blasts and newsletters, and other marketing materials for library and international accounts
• Create key title presentations for accounts
• Run reports from sales systems for analysis and reporting

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in book publishing, media or relevant industry preferred.
• Self-motivated, hands on, enthusiastic individual with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong initiative and judgment. Ability to work well independently as well as in collaborative or team environments.
• Marketing or sales experience a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and comfort with PowerPoint and Outlook required
• Basic understanding of and interest in eBooks and digital publishing
