 Requirements: 
Diversion Publishing Corp is looking for an energetic, intelligent, enterprising, forward thinking candidate for Marketing Manager to help create and execute the marketing campaigns for three imprints: Diversion Books, EverAfter Romance and Radius Book Group. Titles are a mix of fiction and non-fiction. Marketing Manager will work with the whole publishing team including editors and publicists to brainstorm, plan, launch, and then foster the long tail of books for one of the fastest-growing trade publishing companies, one that is known for its innovation and new business models. Specific duties include:

* Develop marketing plans and prepare selling materials across all titles for each selling season.

* Creating and organizing budgets for expenditures on promotions across all titles for each season. Following through to ensure that promotions are planned and executed.

*Negotiate rates and secure placement for ads on various media.

* Supervise creative for ads and other promotional items

* Supervise e-mail marketing efforts for all imprints, working with publicity team

* Coordinate promotions/merchandising with major online retailers for both print and digital formats.

* Analyze engagement, sales, and other digital and traditional campaign performance metrics to inform marketing decisions and guide future plans

* Prepare marketing proposals for potential acquisitions

Qualifications: College degree with a minimum 5 years’ experience in trade book publishing required. Candidates must have strong organization, writing and presentation skills as well as an intuitive sense for how to position a book or book topic so it appeals to its intended audience. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, as well as general computer skills are expected. Experience with basic design software a plus.
