Radish Fiction, a serialized reading platform for smartphones, seeks a motivated individual to join the team in the newly-created role of Content Operations Manager. Reporting directly to the current CEO (currently also acting as the head of content), you will assist in tracking, overseeing, and managing the entire writer and publisher acquisition pipeline. You will ensure how all the pieces in content operations are working together toward the user and revenue growth of the company. Working closely with other content curators, you will assist them in closely managing the acquisition and onboarding of all writers and publishers on the Radish platform. This is a multi-faceted role in a start-up environment that is at the intersection of technology, publishing, operations, and communications. If it’s your heart’s desire to be an editor, you aren’t going to have much fun. This job requires flexibility, agility, and a deep love of reading and readers.

-2-5 years of experience in publishing or in tech company preferred
-Strong communication and written skills a must
-Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a penchant for creative problem-solving
-System-driven and interested in creating a system out of occasional startup chaos
-Number-oriented and data-driven with solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
-Detail-oriented with strong research and organizational skills
-Must have a strong interest mobile and digital reading and an understanding of the current market
-Has a can-do attitude and a willingness to perform tasks both big and small to contribute to the company’s success
-Ability to work relatively flexible hours to coordinate with overseas Radish team members in Seoul

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Assist the CEO with the day-to-day management and back-end operations of onboarded writers and publishers:
-create and manage writer accounts, provide technical guidance, and be a point of contact for writers with lower-level questions and issues
-follow the progress of authors and track the number of original, backlist, and pre-release titles being uploaded
-making sure all stories are being updated regularly; detecting dormant stories to encourage writers to update
* Work closely with internal teams (e.g., tech, support, production, marketing) to relay and troubleshoot the needs and concerns of authors and publishers to the product team
-answer author queries via Groove
-review and update the language for author onboarding documents, writer landing page, FAQ descriptions, and Terms of Service
* Help organize and manage publication and marketing schedules for a large list of writers
* Track, oversee, and analyze content acquisition pipeline, trend, and data
* Manage content and writer community policies
* Administrative tasks—writing, editing, uploading files—as needed 
* Lead the discussion and devise a plan for newsletters, updates, and community management
