 Requirements: 
Nonfiction literary agent, who specializes in representing high-profile experts, especially in health, food, entertainment, science, personal development, and business, is looking for an associate agent, who will have partial salary for being a senior assistant and partial draw for co-agenting with a senior agent. Responsibilities include client management, book proposal and pitch writing, and business development. This is an in-office position for someone with 2+ years of work experience, who is especially interested in nonfiction and is ready to transition into an exciting agenting role.

You must be able to write clear and compelling prose. You must be able to initiate, implement, and complete projects without hand-holding. You must thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple, conflicting deadlines and expectations. You must excel in self-direction, results-orientation, and attention to detail and have high expectations for yourself. You must be comfortable dealing with high-end clients and solving unsolvable problems on a daily basis.
